What is Master Chief if non a big daft knight questing his way across outer space? 343 certainly thinks so, with Time of year 8 of the Halo: The Master Primary Collection dressing our far-approaching soldiers up in historical cosplay when it arrives next week.

Featuring voiceover that would sound more at home in Skyrim than a Army for the Liberation of Rwanda-hit ringworld, the stylish trailer for the MCC sets the stage for a more than historical take on Halo, with bizarre armour sets inspired by everything from Roman soldiers and Viking warriors to, uhh, Skeletor.

Fortunately, feudal armour isn't the only thing coming to the MCC next week. Temper 8 is bringing the Flood to Halo 3: ODST Firefight, Ring 3 is getting a new map based on an overhauled Doughnut 2 classic, and made-to-order game bear leave be expanded to include Gloriol 1 and 3 (the sometime of which in real time features grumbling stylish stomach).

Sadly, information technology appears Season 8 may live the ultimate better update the MCC sees for or s time. With Halo Infinite coming in hot this December, 343 is putting the bequest collection on the backburner—and that while there's ease quite a little it wants to add to the MCC, Seasonal worker updates will likely stop with this concluding drop.

Season 8 of Glory: The Master Chief Collection arrives side by side Wednesday, October 13.
