How To Install 3 Point Seat Belt
Replacement 3 Betoken Retractable Standard Roof Vehicle Installation
Replacement Seat Belt 3 signal formerly, #welr, FMVSS Federal Prophylactic Approved Retractable Belt: CAUTION: Read these seatbelt instructions for 3 betoken retractable replacement seat belts thoroughly before installing this replacement safety harness. These instructions employ only to retractable seat belts from Wesco, non to be used with replacement seat belts from other manufacturers or retailers. Not for replacement use in aircraft or racing competition.
Footstep # 1: To begin replacement, remove the existing seat chugalug that you are replacing including the long side of harness on the outboard side (towards the door, between the seat and the side of the vehicle) and the short side of the seatbelt on the inboard side.
Pace # 2: Replacement: Insert the hex bolt through the (A) Retractor End of your new Wesco replacement seat chugalug and and then screw the hex bolt into the existing anchor point (threaded pigsty) located on the outboard side of the vehicle near the floor as shown in Fig. 1 and tighten. You can supercede the commodities with a new replacement ane purchased from Wesco and institute in our three point retractable Replacement Seat Belts Optional Hardware Kit (office # 3pt-rmk) or the hex bolt (7/sixteen" fine thread Grade 5 or meliorate) from the old seat belt if the machine has never been in an accident. (The hex bolt should be firmly tightened.)
Annotation: With some vehicles, the anchor point is located on the floor which requires the employ of an Angle Bracket. (See Fig. 2 ) (An bending bracket is included in our optional Hardware Kit # 3pt-rmk.)

Important If no anchor points exist, and so before replacement, anchor points must be safely created.
Stride # 3: Now insert the replacement Shoulder Bolt (vii/16" fine thread Grade v or better) through the hole in the Shoulder Sash (B) End of your new replacement seat chugalug and spiral the bolt into the existing anchor point that is located on the upper door post equally seen in Fig. one and so firmly tighten. My vehicle does not have a shoulder bolt anchor point. How exercise I create One? Click Hither! Now snap the shoulder sash cover over the sash guide.
Pace # 4: Next insert the vii/sixteen" fine thread hex bolt (Form five or better) through the hole in the (C) End of your new seat belt and screw the bolt into the existing ballast point that is located on the outboard side of the vehicle about the floor as shown in Fig. i and then firmly tighten. (Sometimes the anchor signal is located on the floor of the vehicle and requires no additional hardware.)
Step # 5: This last step installs the short side of the safety restraint at the inboard position (towards the center of the vehicle). At that place are 2 types of ends:
1. Bench Seat End (20" floppy terminate)
ii. Bucket Seat End (xi" curved difficult sleeve)
Bench Seat End Installation:
Insert the hex bolt through the hole in the (E) End of the bench seat chugalug terminate as shown in
Fig. 3 , and so spiral the hex bolt into the existing anchor point (threaded hole) and firmly tighten. Use a new hex bolt from Wesco or a 7/sixteen" fine thread hex bolt (Course 5 or better) from the sometime seatbelt. That's it, you're washed and fix to savour your new seatbelt!
Note: With the "Bench Seat End" installation, No additional hardware is required whether the anchor betoken is located on the vehicle floor or on the side of the bulldoze shaft tunnel (the hump that runs down the heart of the vehicle floor).
Bucket Seat End Installation:
When the existing anchor point is located in the side of the drive shaft tunnel:Using the seven/xvi" fine thread hex bolt (Grade 5 or better) from the restraint that you're replacing or a new hex bolt from Wesco, simply insert the hex bolt through the hole in the (D) End of the saucepan seatbelt stop as shown in Fig. 4 . Then screw the hex bolt into the existing anchor bespeak on the side of the drive shaft tunnel and tighten securely. The (D) Finish of the bucket seat finish comes with a round plastic cover that tin be replaced after tightening the bolt. You're done!
When the existing anchor indicate is located in the flooring

Then an
Angle Bracket Click Here is required as shown in Fig. 5 . Adhere the angle bracket to the floor of the vehicle using a class v or better 7/16" fine thread hex bolt (as found in whatsoever of Wesco's hardware kits). The hex bolt should be firmly tightened. Now put the original 7/16" fine thread hex commodities (or a new 1 from Wesco) through the (D) Finish of the bucket seat cease and then through the hole in the angle subclass. Attach a seven/16" fine thread Form 5 lock nut (or lock washer and nut) and firmly tighten. The (D) End of the saucepan seat end has a round plastic cover that can be replaced later tightening the bolt and nut. You're done!
